day two... ouch

Okay so Plyometrics was just as bad as I expected, maybe even worse. I know my endurance sucks, but WOW! does it ever suck. My legs are still on fire and I finished the workout about an hour and a half ago. Some of the moves made my legs feel like jello so I couldn't even finish some of them.

I also have had bad ankle injuries when I was young so I was very very shaky and am not sure how good I'll ever get at them. But hey, we're trying here.. I also injured my knee this past April to the point of swollen twice the size and black and blue. So that definitely is why I felt the pain like no other today .. not sure if I'll be able to walk in an hour, nevermind tomorrow.

Those one foot hops, whatever they were called were impossible for me to, my ankles are too weak from injury to even do ONE!!! I know I'm going to hate plyo every week but I'm going to keep at it the best I can.

I'm suppose to go skating tonight but we will see if that happens or not.....I might be in bed with my ice pack.

P90X...Day One

Okay so the reason I am starting this blog is to talk about my P90X experience and maybe a little bit more thrown in here and there. I'm totally new to this whole blogging thing and am only doing it because it was suggested to me in order to track my progress with the program.

Here's the rundown..
I'm 21, a student graduating in June (YAY!!), still living at home, an ex-gymnast and need a lot of help to get back to that shape. I really am not happy where I am physically right now and have no motivation to use a gym. As of today, I'm 140 pounds and 5'3" with less and less muscle each day and it's getting depressing.

So when someone I know was finished with the P90X program, they lent it to me.. on Sunday. I've geared myself up to start this program and today I did the first video.. Chest & Back and then Ab Ripper. I honestly can say that I'm proud of how well I did.

I watched numerous videos and read many blogs about how the first week/month and even day sucks.. and even though I will be very sore in the morning and can feel it now even, I'm not as shocked as I thought I would be. I put my all into it today and was doing at least 15 reps and sometimes hitting 25. So I can honestly say.... go me (at least for today).

Tomorrow scares the (bleep) out of me as I was getting dizzy after today's warmup.. could get ugly.

So.. seeing as I doubt anyone will be reading this now. That's it.

Let's see where this goes.
